There’s that little voice in our heads that constantly tell us not to start our work. Stephen Pressfield calls it the Resistance. Where did this come into being? It hasn’t always existed. Our ancestors couldn’t take a day off when they wanted food or needed to survive. So have humans gotten increasingly lazier? That’s pretty sad. Now here I am, always faced with the Resistance before starting work. Here’s what I found that helps
-limit all distractions. Block websites, turn off internet, get your phone out of there
-step by step to start working. One step at a time to your desk, then sit down, then start
-set a very easy goal with lots of amount of time to do it
I’m still figuring all this out. Why does my innards scream at me to not do shit. The human mind is so ridiculous.
