Viktor Frankl’s Man’s Search For Meaning was a good book. But it was also so smart. I am barley understanding all of it. So there is much to learn with the book. He talked a lot about positivity and its benefits.
Is there a time when positivity is not appreciated? When you’re hiking up a mountain and you’ve got 5 more miles to go? When someone just passed away and you’re by their side? Not sure if being positive will help in that situation. Of course have common sense with it. But I feel that positivity is generally good and appreciated and helpful. There’s empirical studies on this too.
So how can I be positive and see the light in things even though they are sucky? And my sucky is nothing compared to other people’s suckiness. This is not to discourage me but to show me that I can do it because other’s have done harder.
